Comprehensive testing should be categorically the first thing for anyone attempting to conceive. It is incredible that so many patients, even ones who have gone as far as IVF, have failed to receive a comprehensive fertility evaluation that includes time-sensitive lab testing.

When the basic tests fall within the spectrum of optimal fertility and there is still no conception, or miscarriage, or lack of implantation at IVF, most issues will lead to the area of immunology or blood clotting disorders. These unidentified factors will still be obstacles even if the patient proceeds to drugs, IUI, or IVF.
