Why choose Cleveland Acupuncture?
I first began doing acupuncture in Cleveland in 2001, when acupuncture was not recognized by the majority of health care providers, nor were there hospital based wellness/integrative medicine departments as there are today.

As your acupuncturist, I feel it is part of my job to educate you on your alternatives, and what you can do to influence outcomes in your own healthcare challenges. I am also there to guide you away from expensive dead end paths that will lead to nowhere but frustration. These days patients must often be their own advocate, in the corporate health care system, there is no reimbursement for caring.

At the end of the day, you want to know everything that can be done is being done to speed you on your healing journey. I believe this approach will lessen the anxiety of whether you will get better or not, and it will certainly accelerate the achievement of  your health goals.

Supporting Small Business

Cleveland Acupuncture is an independently held private clinic, not an extension of a large hospital. I do no advertising whatsoever, and I am beholden to no one except my patients, the Ohio Medical Board, and myself. If you have been referred by a former patient, or found me on an internet search, don’t be surprised if someone you know has been a patient, I have been around a long time!

You can always depend on me to tell you what I really think. Proper diagnosis means proper treatment. There is a “getting to know you” process in order to shed light on what the right path for you is.

I have had the privilege of working with many very challenging patients and circumstances through the years, and this has given me tremendous “on the job” experience. It is also incredibly rewarding to defy the odds, and assist in getting you where you want to be!

Part of my responsibility as your provider is to  counsel and support you on the lifestyle modifications which powerfully impact and accelerate your healing potential. Your responsibility as a patient is to sincerely make an effort to comply. Healing and achieving health goals requires audience participation!

The Cleveland Acupuncture Experience
Receiving acupuncture and health coaching  is personalized, unbiased (incorporating conventional and alternative/functional medicine as needed), and includes cutting edge information on nutrition, supplements, etc.,  as part of your treatment. I care deeply  on a personal level that your outcome is positive and that your health goals are achieved in a timely manner, with as little expense to you as possible.

This clinic not a “hospital wellness  experience”, nor a spa, though I do aim for a relaxation response when you are being treated. Treatment is in a private room, and I do not offer community ( group) acupuncture, or gift certificates. This is a medical clinic.

Potential patients are encouraged to send a brief history of their health concerns and treatment goals via email for a detailed response as to what I might offer each individual case. I will respond to all requests. Please send to: clevelandacupuncture@gmail.com
